Best International Travel Apps

Let?s face it, traveling can be a hassle and you need to keep light. Therefore, having all your helps, docs, and a personal secretary all in one place is essential! With these travel apps you can do just that. Check them out:

1. TripIt ? This app will definitely get you from point A to point B! Upload your itinerary to the app, and it will organize all the details of your trip, like car rental, hotel booking, and departure data. TripIt downloads every last detail from your flight info to your directions for ground travel. The one downside is that this program has a $69 annual fee to keep it updated and working, but you may find that it?s totally worth it.
2. Kayak ? This free app from one of the most popular travel agencies is totally handy when thinking of traveling. Book your flights, shop for the cheapest rates, and do it all from your smart phone.
3. ZagatToGo ? Depending on where you are going in the world, having a resource for restaurant reviews may save your intestines a long night. ZagatToGo will help you locate and choose between the best places to eat wherever you plane touches down. This app costs about $10, but then again, that?s cheaper than a big pack of Pepto Bismol caplets!
4. Wi-Fi Finder ? If getting on the web is simply a must on your trip, you may think this app to be a lifesaver. Wherever you are, Wi-Fi Finder does just what it sounds like: it finds the closest Wi-Fi to you.
5. Bieks Talking Phrasebook ? Sometimes the simplest things seem impossible in a foreign country when you just don?t know what to say. Bieks Talking Phrasebook is like having a fast portable dictionary and phrase guide in whatever language you need. The coolest thing is that this app doesn?t just spell the word, but it actually sounds it out so that so that you don?t look like a fool when ordering your beer or crab wontons. I?ve seen it priced at $19.99, which is comparable to printed phrasebooks, just more convenient.
6. PrinterShare Premium ? Since packing a printer is typically really hard to do when flying, the PrinterShare app is great for connecting to wireless printers near you. $5 for Android.
7. Where ? This free app helps you find anything that you could need. Whether trying to find a gas station, coffee shop, or grocery store, Where will show you where.
8. SitorSquat ? As mentioned above, looking for a toilet in a foreign country can be difficult. If you don?t know how to ask for it, you can always use SitorSquat to find it yourself! It?s free.
9. WorldMate ? For just $14.50, Worldmate syncs your calendar, schedule, and travel info. It?s a great one stop shop for the data that runs your life while overseas.
