We had first seen last month, Vertu is now officially introduced its first smartphone to run Android operating system, the Vertu Ti. It doesn?t have the latest and greatest specs but made out of titanium, polished red gold (18 carats), black ceramic and black crocodile leather. The Vertu Ti smartphone is also handmade in England.
Inside, Vertu Ti beats a 1.7GHz dual-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This luxury Android-powered smartphone packs a 3.7 inches touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA), and protected by sapphire crystals that resistant to scratches.
Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, the Vertu Ti has also an 8MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash, and a 1.3MP front-facing camera.
Other features include GPS, electronic compass, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, high quality stereo speakers (collaboration with Bang & Olufsen), MicroUSB port and a standard headphone jack.
Vertu Ti smartphone will work in GSM and WCDMA networks. Its battery is enabling juice the handset for up to 7.2 hours in talk or 200 hours standby. This Vertu Android-based phone is dimensions of 130.4 x 58.9 x 12.8 mm and weighing 181 grams.
The Vertu Ti dual-core Android smartphone is worth of 7,900 euros.
